This is the recipe on the box.
3/4 c. light corn syrup
3 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. milk chocolate morsels
1 tsp. vanilla1 pkg. Golden Graham cereal (9 c.)
3 c. miniature marshmallows
Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Heat syrup, butter and morsels to boiling stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal in bowl, toss until coated. Fold in marshmallows 1 cup at a time. Press into pan with buttered back of spoon. Let stand 1 hour. Cut into 2 inch squares. Store at room temperature.
We have always made them by putting the chocolate chips, butter, corn syrup and 2 cups of marshmallows in the microwave. Heating at 1 min. intervals till melted. Then add the vanilla, mixing till smooth. Next add the golden grahams into the bowl (we don't measure, just mix till you like the consistency, then add 1 more cups of marshmallows. Spread in the pan and enjoy!
